As tradition would have it, our venture began while reminiscing with family and friends on the beach in the heart of Nags Head. We are Sallie and Grayson, a mother-daughter team who created our products to convey our love for all things Nags Head. Our family’s Nags Head story began when Johnie Whaley, our family’s patriarch, built our cottage in 1950. Since then, cherished memories of ocean breezes, long walks along the water, and neighborhood porch gatherings are just some of the things that have made Nags Head feel like home.

At Nags Head Cottage Co. we believe in casual living, comfortable surroundings, and classic style. Similar to the historical cottages, we designed our affordable and timeless products to represent tradition, while also appealing to all generations.The design of our cottage logo embodies the original Nags Head architecture and evokes a sense of nostalgic familiarity. Nags Head summons the casual, the comfortable, and the classic. There’s a bit of Nags Head in all of us.
